Argentine Tango Lessons and Milonga in Letchworth, Hertfordshire & North London
Well, winter is definitely here! Soon December, and we will have our usual break until the new year. But before the festivities begin, we have two more milongas and a few classes to finish the year in style! Not long until this year wraps up and we descend into the season of dark evenings and cold winds. Not long until our purses or wallets get thinner and thinner due to the gas and electricity bills, either… But for now, we have the beautiful display of colourful leaves cascading down to paint the landscape yellow, orange and red – true bliss! In addition, we have our usual Wednesday classes and a couple of milongas, too. So, get your woolly jumpers and tango shoes on and see you all at the Jackmans Community Centre!

Masterclass by Maestro Andres Tanguito Cejas at Jackmans Community Centre, Ivel Court, Jackmans Estate, Letchworth Garden City, Herts, SG6 2NL
Wed 16 Oct 2024 8pm, practica until 11pm
Fee – £16 including tea, coffee and cakes. No need for fixed partners. Class from 8pm, followed by dancing and music until 11pm.

We don’t mean to ruin it for you at the height of Summer, but Autumn is quietly lurking around…Now, that is not all that bad, September can be amazing for many reasons. Just think about the autumn colours, the milder temperatures, the soulful melancholy brought on by the forever passing and changing of the seasons and last, but not least, the immense joy of kids going back to school. This is exactly what we have been waiting for: sunshine, 20+ C temperatures, balmy summer nights, holidays, airport troubles, flights grounded due to IT issues…true bliss! Never you mind, Tango is always here for you, so are we (except for the milonga that had to be cancelled on Sun the 18th of August – sorry about that…!). June has not lived up to our expectations, so far as the weather is concerned, has it…We look forward to July, hoping for the summer to finally arrive. In the meantime, you can count on us to make the waiting more enjoyable! The July newsletter is now out:
